Analysis

"Right--O" vs "Right on" = "I too can set the sub-cultural tone of this exchange."

The things that are important

 rain taps my forehead
 I don't move
 the tapping and cool after-touch
  touch reminders in me -
calling  on a secret need to remember...
 a starting summer rain
loving - patient - reassuring
tap-
 - - -tap
 tap-
 cool wetness-
calmly -
-don't
- - -forget
this
this
this
cool gentle tap
 important - pressing
don't move
wait (tap)
it will come

whatever i want

I looked out my window this morning
and with bleary eyes
and clear of expectations
I easily saw the sky, ocean and sand
and an island

-between the parted curtains
of my bedroom window
as seen from my bed-

just as easily as I saw
the sky
over the roof
of my neighbors house
the sky divided by a wire

-four stacked rectangles
of the open window
between parted curtains
lying in my bed-

And rightly too my wife saw
lake shore wooded campsite
and endless sparkling lake
blue- so full of sky

-soft blankets and warm wife
and my open window
between parted curtains
show me whatever I want
rolling curves like hills
take me wherever I want-

i am a microscopic

i am a microscopic piece of network
cable
sometimes I believe
i am a person
like Dewey Dell
believes in Faulkner

fathead

Taking in too much food makes us fat
or sick
Taking in too many ideas can
make our head fat or sick

Education is not upbringing
nor is it inherently leaned in a
moral direction.

it's not no-clothes - it's slavery

Oh, how fine are the Emperor's new clothes! Don't they fit him to perfection? And see his long train!" Nobody would confess that he couldn't see anything, for that would prove him either unfit for his position, or a fool. No costume the Emperor had worn before was ever such a complete success.

"But he hasn't got anything on," a little child said.

"Did you ever hear such innocent prattle?" said its father. And one person whispered to another what the child had said, "He hasn't anything on. A child says he hasn't anything on."

"But he hasn't got anything on!" the whole town cried out at last.

The Emperor shivered, for he suspected they were right. But he thought, "This procession has got to go on." So he walked more proudly than ever, as his noblemen held high the train that wasn't there at all.

BUT

"It's not an emperor - it's society"
and
"it's not no-clothes - it's slavery"

(emperor = society) + (no-clothes = slavery) = starting point

In other words

"I'm keeping it all."

That's then apparent sentiment of Billionaires committing to donating 99% of their wealth upon death (into a controlled 'foundation' rather that free and clear) . Offering it as a promise of goodwill to society...only not this society but a theoretical future society.

"I'll give it all away...later."

Another way to re-frame the commitment to  posthumous 'charity' is as follows: "I'd rather be dead than help people. After I'm dead I'll part with my money...and even then, only sort of"

after the water is still

I awoke with an image in my mind
a Father with a swarm of children all around him
all standing near an enormous body of water
and he wanted to show them what happened when the pool was finally still
but the children splashed at the water with excitement
and the Father waited
and other children fought amongst themselves
and the Father waited
and as the surface begins to become sheer
it is frothed again by another excited child
none of the children seeming to know that it's what's after the water is still
(and not the water itself) that Father needs to show the children.
and He waits.
